Working Gardens Competition

ALLOTMENT COMPETITION

Every year, the towns of Saint-Avold and Macheren organize a competition for the most beautiful "allotment gardens". The competition rewards the most beautiful gardens created by members of the Association des Amateurs de Jardinage de Saint-Avold et Petit-Ebersviller. 

Building on a long tradition, these gardens, located in Petit-Ebersviller, perpetuate these very special moments of contact with nature, and more particularly with vegetables and flowers, while passing on their passion to others. It's all about reconnecting with nature, taking ownership of a living environment and acting responsibly. Winners are selected according to criteria of variety, originality, cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
