Rue Foch: safer, greener access to the lycée
The transformation of rue Foch, near the future park, has reached a new stage. The aim is to provide Naborian high-school students with a safe and pleasant environment.
Already underway or in the pipeline:
- A two-way cycle path to make it easier and safer for students to cycle.
- A dedicated bus platform, allowing school buses to park without obstructing traffic and students to reach their school without passing other vehicles.
- Increased planting, with flowerbeds planted with trees and shaded areas to protect youngsters from bad weather.
- A "drop-off" area, to drop off children safely.
The work is part of a wider program to upgrade and beautify the town center and entrances. The municipality emphasizes that this project is as much about student safety as it is about improving the living environment: one more step towards a greener, more welcoming town for young Naborians.

The first phase extends from the "Les Fleurs" traffic circle to rue du Vermont, and will continue until the All Saints' vacation period.
To ensure the safety of schoolchildren, cyclists and pedestrians, rue Foch has been made one-way towards the town center.
A special platform accommodates school buses, and a "drop-off" zone facilitates access for families.
The landscaping in front of the Lycée will be completed after the start of the school year, with planting, the installation of shade structures and pavement markings.
This project, carried out in conjunction with the Grand Est region, aims to provide a safer, more pleasant space for all.
