WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

The livret de famille (family record book) is a document issued either on the marriage of spouses who have no children, or on the birth of the 1st child.

The family record book is automatically issued to the spouses after the ceremony or when the birth is declared.

Any change in the marital status of persons entered in the booklet must be updated.

Duplicate family record book :

You must go to the commune of your place of residence with :

  • An identity document with photograph
  • Proof of address less than 3 months old.
  • Following a divorce or separation, a judgment is required.
