Municipal Conservatory of Music and Dance

The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Communal is Saint-Avold's public arts teaching service.
It is an essential structure in the cultural development of our region.
Its vocation is to give everyone access to quality teaching and diversified musical practice, supervised by qualified professionals. The same applies to dance and singing.

The disciplines taught

Individual courses

' Singing, violin, cello, viola, drums, clarinet, flute, guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, piano, saxophone, trumpet, trombone.

Group lessons / group classes

Music

• Musical Exploration (ages 5 and up)
• Introduction to Music (ages 6 and up)
• Music Theory (ages 7 and up)

Orchestras

• Graine d’orchestre
• L’apprenti orchestre
• OrcheSTr-A
• Contemporary music
• Choral singing

Classical & modern/contemporary dance:

- Jardin d'éveil (maternelle moyenne section)
- Éveil (maternelle grande section) - Initiation (CP)
- Full classical and/or modern/contemporary curriculum

Workshops

• Parent/child (as suggested by the instructor)
• Dance: contemporary / choreographed / classical – advanced level

SECRETARIAT OPENING HOURS

  • During the school year: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • During school breaks: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Enrollment at the Conservatory will be open from June 29 to August 28, 2026.
