Illuminated Houses Competition
The aim of the illuminated houses competition is to reward residents who make a special effort to beautify and illuminate their town for the festive season.
What about the competition?
This competition takes place every year in December.
How can you get involved?
To take part, you need to fill in the registration form, which you'll find in your letterbox or at Energis, régie municipale de Saint-Avold (Avenue Foch). Following registration, participants will receive the competition rules by post.
Jury composition
These are made up of elected representatives, Energis employees and advisory board members. There will be 5 of them, examining participants' houses, gardens, facades, windows and balconies visible from the street.

- Jeanne d'Arc / Route de Porcelette neighborhood
- Langacker / Pierrard district
- Quartier Carrière / Wenheck
- Huchet / Tyrol district
- Centre-Ville / Dourd'hal district
Rating criteria
Judging is based on the variety and quantity of illuminations, as well as on the juries' "coup de coeur". For each district, a grand prize, a prize and an incentive prize are awarded.
