The P.L.U. is a document that lays down town-planning rules by zone and sector for the entire communal territory.
MODIFICATION OF THE LOCAL URBAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN (P.L.U.)
The Commune of Saint-Avold has had a P.L.U. since December 20, 2005.
This urban planning document has undergone successive modifications in recent years.
The P.L.U. has been under review since 07/06/2022.

A REMINDER OF THE ESSENTIAL RULES?
Prior authorization is required for any construction, with or without foundations, and for any work on an existing building that alters its external appearance.
The same applies to :
- facade renovation
- changes to joinery and roofing
- fencing
- planting garden sheds
- verandas, pergolas
- garages
- homes
- pools
Please note that carrying out work without authorization is an offence, so if you have any doubts, don't hesitate to contact the town planning department.
